You are offerding on a Civil War letter and cover, this letter originates in Weare? New Hampshire, and is written to a Mr. Lorriman G. Love, who was a regiment officer in the Banks Expedition. The letter is from a cousin who describes life in N.H. and all of the things he/she has been doing, sports,dancing,working on the homestead,fishing and also some gossip about mutual friends and relatives. No mention of the war. The original stamp is included, but damaged and unattached. Amazing Civil War history from New Hampshire. Please judge conditions by photos. Questions are welcomed.
