DescriptionWhat we have here for your consideration is a note from the 2nd National Bank of Zanesville, OH charter number 131. This is an extremely rare note with this being the only known example. It is also an original series 1863 note with signatures of Chittenden & Spinner.

The 2nd National bank of Zanesville was chartered 11-23-1863 and was Liquidated 11-16-1872 with a total issue of $175,340 and $1420 outstanding in 1910. Information obtained from \" National Bank Notes\" by Don Kelly

This note has seen better days, but considering the age and the uniqueness of this note any condition is better than not owning it.
