…… We recently listed some Civil War General’s signatures as well as some Civil War documents from the 20th Massachusetts that were recently found in Lowell Massachusetts home. Another lot of Civil War Papers were just found in the same home, and you can see them pictured in the last photograph. They originally belonged to Mr. Dudley L. Page of Lowell who was in several Massachusetts Army units during the Civil War. Uncle Dudley Page was well known in Lowell where he opened a Candy & Ice cream store in 1866, just after the war. We have partially gone though everything and have divided them into related groups. We just listed his 1864 Diary and we will be listing several sales with very rare, detailed, Military Reports of the 2nd Div, 20th Massachusetts, each with a hand drawn Map showing every position of every soldier of the division. I mean that every hand written line is in relation to how many men are where, the placement and movement of cannon and the location of supplies, reserves and headquarters, accompanied with a detailed map. These reports are to “Lt. Col. C. W. Asmussen, Ast. Insp??? 20th Corps.” and were written by “Capt. W. S. Forbes, A.A.I.G.”. All the Reports contain important hand drawn and detailed maps from, Lookout Valley in Tennessee. … Each letter will each be listed separately and of course should you win more than one Civil War Map we can always combine shipping.
…… Dated July 3, 1864 the first report is marked, Headquarters 2nd Div. 20th ACorps, Office A. A. L. General. It is to Lt. Col. C. W. Asmussen, Ast. Insp??? 20th Corps. It reads in part “I have the honor to report the following changes in the line of this division. The main body of our troops are retain’d to the command?? line of breastworks previously occupied as our reserve line. These works were extended 200 yards to the right …… Another entry reads; Burn’s Battery remains in the works when they connect with the 3rd division…… of McGill’s Battery, 3 pieces are posted in the works on a commanding ridge, near right center…… Our main line of works is 860 yards long. From our right to Gen. Cox’s line is about 200 yards directly to the rear…… At the end of this report there is an addition that reads, “A change in the Artillery positions has been made. – The whole of McGill’s Battery is in the right section – 3 Guns of Burn’s near our right and 3 on our left.\"
…… Folded, this report measures 8” by 9 ¾” and the hand drawn Map is a full page. There are two roads, Manetta & Powder Spring Road. It also show the works of the 2nd in front of an “open field” with the “Rebel Pickets” on the other side. There are other small roads, plus small Xs where the field pieces are and locations of Cox’s pickets and breastworks on the right.
…… Needless to say this finely detailed, 20th Corps Report would be considered, Top Secret. There are lots more detailed information in this report about positions of every man and cannon in the 2nd division, as of July 3rd, 1864 at Lookout Valley, Tennessee.

UPS is also using a new billing structure which calculates the cost of shipping using Dimensional weight instead of the actual weight of the package. More information about this change can be found on UPS’s website and if you see an increase in the shipping calculator, this is why.
If you find that there is a discrepancy between \'s estimate and your invoiced shipping cost, we apologize. We are currently working closely with to have the calculator provide accurate costs. Payments:
Payment must be received within 5 days of receiving an invoice. PayPal payments are preferred and if payment, or contact from the buyer, isn\'t received within 5 days, an dispute will be opened. This dispute will be closed within 4 days after being opened and the item will be re-listed. If you have a problem, please call us and we will help you solve it.
