I have available for offers a very nice, better date 1866 Indian Head penny. ***PLEASE NOTE ***- This coin was found in the ground with a metal detector, and has been cleaned to identify the date and details.

This coin shows tremendous overall detail on both sides, especially for a found coin, although the obverse does have a large amount of green on it, which I could not remove. I did not want to risk damaging the coin by using an abrasive method. The obverse does show what looks like a full Liberty and the reverse shows a pretty strong wreath and shield. The coin does show some corrosion/pitting from having been found/cleaned. I have included the best front and back pictures I could get with natural lighting, to try to accurately present the detail. If you are looking to fill a hole in an album or just acquire a better date coin, this is a great opportunity.
