Original circa 1870\'s-1880\'s tintype photo closeup view of a kid holding a doll & also a toy wooden sand bucket with the words \"Good Boy\" stenciled on it. This reads backwards as normal for tintypes since the process reverses wording. The kid has red tinting on the cheeks. The photo is in superb condition & there are only a few insignificant minute flaws. The black line on the top left of the background occurred in the making & is under the emulsion. The original paper matt has some soiling & a bit of wear around the edges.
The matt measures 4 13/16 inches tall by 3 3/16 inches wide. The oval opening showing the tintype on the front measures 3 1/8 inches long by 1 15/16 inches wide. Please examine the photos closely & purchase based on your own judgement as to condition & value.
