FROM A RECENT ESTATE LIQUIDATION:

Fabulous heavy sterling oyster ladle in Tiffany & Company\'s Vine pattern with tomato motif. The pattern introduced in 1872 and produced into the 1880s. The substantial ladle has elegant, crisp fluting on the bowl and nice, sharp detail of the heavily-sculpted leaf and fruit motifs.

Marked on the back \'TIFFANY & Co ~ STERLING\'

The ladle measures 10 1/2\" handle & bowl, the bowl measures 3 1/2\" at the widest.

Nice & clean, no monograms.

Condition is excellent ~ no dents or bends, no heavy wear or loss of detail, but does show the very merest amount of normal use for a 140-year old utensil, as shown in our copious photos.
