Interesting piece of history from 1873. 142 years old !! Cincinnati Industrial Exposition Token. Round, Aluminum (possibly white metal?), 28mm in diameter.

Obverse; \"CINCINNATI / (building depiction) / INDUSTRIAL / 1873 / EXPOSITION\".

Reverse displays the Seal of Cincinnati.

The token is bowed up toward the obverse and is holed for wear. It has surface porosity,pitting, and other issues as seen in the scans.

Two somewhat similar tokens are listed in the huge online token catalog. These are for years 1870 and 1871. None are listed for 1873 !!!!!!!!! RARE !!!
