An extremely ornate and attractive Roman Catholic French Prayerbook/ Missal, bound in original fine glossed leather binding with two flowing silver clasps and metal adornments, as shown, the spine with raised bands, gilt decor and title, externally like new. Text in French, printed in red and black with numerous intricate steel engravings, as shown; each page with illustrated borders and printed in red. Hinges still holding although front starting split. Gilt decorative EPs. Pages very well presented, the page edges shining in full golden gilt, also intact silk ribbon marker. Unmarked. 100% complete.
