19th CenturyEagle Eaglets mechanical bank, dated 1883.
Stevens 1883 patent on base withold coin trap.All original paint has not been cleaned. Mechanics are in fine working order. I do not hear any bellows making chirping sounds.To operate, place a coin in the eagle\'s beak and press the lever just under its tail. This causes the eagle to lean forward and drop the coin into the bank. As it does, the eaglets rise up slightly and open their beaks. Original painting.
It is an example of history. VERY GOOD CONDITION.ONE WING FELL OFF. NEEDS REPAIR.
Measures about 6\" tall, and about 8.25\" x 4\".
