For your World Coin Collection - This is a beautiful small copper coin from the Congo while under Belgian occupation. This is a two centimes coin dates 1887. It depicts crowned monogram of King Leopold of Belgium around a central hole on the reverse with legend \"LEOP.II. R. D. BELGES. SOUV. DE L\'ETA INDEP. DU CONGO\" or Leopold the second King of Belgium and the independent state of Congo along the edge. The obverse has a star with the hole in its center. The coin is graded by the Numismatic Guarantee Corporation as Uncirculated with detail, which is Surface Hairlines. These hairlines can be seen on the obverse but are light and covered by the beautiful green patina. The coin comes in a slab showing the rim and all the details.
