  • Description: A beautiful uncirculated mint state 1887 half penny coin from the United Kingdom. The coin, which has a plain edge, displays Queen Victoria\'s mature bust facing left on the obverse. The reverse displays Britannia seated and facing right with the denomination surrounding her and date below. The coin has the words \"VICTORIA.D.G.: BRITT. REG. F.D.\" surrounding the queen\'s bust on the obverse. The reverse is marked \"Half Penny 1887\" surrounding a seated Britannia facing right. This is KM 754 weighing 5.4 grams and measuring about 25 mm in diameter. The coin comes in a plastic slab and is graded as Mint State MS 65 RB (Red Brown) by the Numismatic Guarantee Corporation. This is a top investment grade coin which deserves a spot in any advanced collection of British coins. It is nicely toned in a red brown coloring and has great eye appeal.
