Very rare and original, 1888 Benjamin Harrison / Levi Morton Illustrated Presidential Election Ballot from the State of Maryland featuring a large image of a Public School Building. The Ballot lists the Republican Party slate of candidates for Presidential and Vice Presidential Electors along with the Republican candidate for the Member of the US House of Representatives from Maryland’s 6th Congressional District.

This wonderful presidential Campaign Ballot measures approx. 3\" by 8\" and features an image of a School House with a sign above the door that reads “Public School”. Text above the image reads in part “Republican Ticket / Sixth Congressional District”. Text below the image reads \"For President,...Benjamin Harrison, of Indiana\" and “For Vice President,...Levi P. Morton, of New York”. Below this text there is listed the names of the Republican Party Slate of Presidential Electors from the State of Maryland in 1888 followed by the name of the Republican candidate for the US House of Representatives from Maryland’s 6th Congressional District.

This rare and original, 1888 Presidential Campaign Ballot is in excellent condition – generally clean and crisp and exceptionally well preserved with a single, tiny spot of staining at the lower right hand corner
