OBJECT: Available for purchase here is an absolutely lovely, sterling silver finger-tray dating from the era of the Raj in India and Kashmir. Formed in the shape of a Chinar or Plane tree leaf, the incredibly detailed repoussé decoration echoes the intricate patterns of Indian textiles. Although unmarked (as most silver pieces in that time and area were), this is without doubt an genuine piece of British colonial history. Informed collectors will agree the shape and craftsmanship attest to its origins and authenticity.*

Condition is very good, with only minor evidence of historical use: slight scuffs and scratches, etc. The handle is firmly affixed and the dish performs and displays beautifully. The piece weighs just over 61 grams; and it measures 6 ½\" in length and 5\" in width.

A wonderful addition to any collection of Kutch, British Colonial or Indian history!
