This is an 1890's show and powder measurer by the B.G.I. Company. The measurer measures approximately 5 1/8 inches in length and 1 inch in height (when measure closed). The measure is marked with a drams and onces scale and "B.G.I. Co / Pat. Feb. 25 1890". The measurer is in near excellent condition with a little dirt that could be cleaned. The measurer is one of a dozen found in a box from a old hardware store, as told to me by a dealer that had it. A very nice powder/shot measurer to have in your collection.
