Here is an 1890\'s \"Dixie\" Keystone Farm Machine. Its in great working shape for its age. This corn sheller has been in my family for over 120 years. It was made in York, PA in the 1890\'s. It was brought here by ship into the docks of Charleston, and was purchased by my great great great grandfather back in the mid 1890\'s. It was used in and around the plantation(one we currently live on). It was discovered back in the early 60\'s by my grandfather in the woods a couple hundred yards from our house. It was restored back to working order by my grandfather, and it still works great to this day! The original handle at some point in the last century broke off of it, so a new one was put on sometime by my grandfather within the past 40 years. It even still has the original paint, and even the original pinstriping!! It was displayed in the actual plantation house which still stands on our property, and it was displayed and demonstrated for the historical society for many years. I inherited this corn sheller from my grandfather a few years ago. He was the one who told me the entire history of this corn shucker.I have to sell this because I am looking to restore my classic car and I am a little behind on funds as far as restoring it.offerding starts at $300.
