This is a Victorian-era sterling silver Baroque-Revival style coffee or teapot on 3 feet consisting of women\'s faces and terminating with guilloche banded carbriole legs. The body is a gourd form. The surface is heavily chase-engraved over repousse work with facing C-scroll and crest-topped armorial center that is not monogrammed. The lid has a floral top knop. Sweeping handle and long spout are decorated as scrolling acanthus.
