Small hardback book, Compiled by the Committee. 118 pages, string binding.
Book is in decent condition overall, shows considerable cover and spine wear but is intact with no damage, binding good. Has foxing ranging from light to considerable on every page.
A total of 10 signatures are on the first two fly pages inside, written in pencil. It looks like these were people who were present at this event who the original owner of the book felt were autograph-worthy. Light internet research found only two of them - Cyrus Bussey, a Civil War general who at the time was Assistant Secretary of the Interior, as he notes in his inscription, and George Strobridge, an author.
The others, as best I can decipher, are: John W. Lissom (?), W.F. Wakeman, Geo. W. English, Paul Roberts (?), R.W. Tayler, A.J. Hopkins, M.N. Johnson, and the other one on the second fly page under Cyrus Bussey, which I can\'t make out.
