Very rare and original, 1893 Complete Deck of Souvenir Playing Cards from the Columbian Exposition / Chicago World\'s Fair. The deck is titled on the Joker \"Columbian Souvenir Playing Cards” and are copyright 1893 by G. W. Clark and published by the Columbian Souvenir Playing Card Company of Chicago, Illinois.

The Deck is complete and includes 52 Playing Cards, a Joker and a blank front extra card as well as the original box. The Card fronts feature 52 different, chromolithographic views of the buildings at the Columbian Exposition. The Joker is illustrated with a bust portrait of Christopher Columbus and another of Lady Columbia. The backs of all the Cards feature a view of the Landing of Columbus in the New World.

This very rare and original, Complete Deck of 1893 Columbia Exposition / Chicago World\'s Fair Playing Cards is in excellent condition. The Deck of Cards is complete, as issued and the Cards themselves are in excellent+ condition - clean and crisp and exhibiting little or no signs of use and not a hint of wear. The original box is complete and sound but edge worn as can be seen in the scans below.
