The only reference I can find to Dry Goods Clubs are from the 1890\'s presidential campaign in which there were both Republican and Democrat Clubs. I think they were merchant groups organized for political purposes.
Piece is in very good to excellent condition. Monogram shows almost no wear, fully pronounced and legible. Back of bowl has a small amount of heel wear. There are some slight nicks and scratches from stacking and storage with other flatware otherwise piece is in very good condition.

Piece will need to be thoroughly polished when buyer receives it.
