A uniformly bound set of works from prolific author, Rudyard Kipling.
First edition of \"The Day\'s Work\", featuring the original publishers\' advertisements, dated 15.9.98.
\"The Light that Failed\" is the eight reprint of the first edition, with original publishers\' advertisements dated November 1897.
Both volumes are complete within themselves, making this a smart set.
CONDITION
In original cloth bindings with gilt detailing, and lettering to the spines. Externally, both volumes are lightly rubbed, with some bumping. Shelfwear to the head and tail of spines. Cloth is slightly splitting to the rear joint of one volume. One front hinge is slightly strained. Internally,onevolumeis generally firmly bound, with \"The Day\'s Work\" being tender in places. Bright throughout both volumes, and generally clean, with some light spotting affecting the first and last pages. Ink signature to half title of one volume, and endpaper to the other. Booksellers label to the front pastedown of one volume. Overall:FAIR due to binding being strained.
