We are offering a very beautiful medal from the United Kingdom, the 1897 Queen Victoria Commemoration of the Diamond (Sixty Year) Jubilee Reign Medal, Engraved by J. Walker The medal is similar to the medal listed as number 3573 by Laurence Brown in his \"British Historical Medals 1760-1960, Volume 2, The Reign of Queen Victoria 1837-1901,\" except this medal is presented by Ernest F.C. Hatch M.P. This medal is 38.27 mm in diameter and is made of silver with a light gilt of gold (the silver marks are on edge of medal) (with a total weight of .721 ounces or 20.43 grams). The medal has gorgeous bright silversurfaces, with gold highlights and wonderful sharp detail. It would be a very nice addition to your collection.
