  • STYLE: 1) Armenian Church\'s Altar/Processional Cross & 2) Clasp of an Armenian Church Priest’s long cloak/ cape (pluvial)
  • MATERIAL: Sterling Silver
  • HALLMARKS/ INSCRIPTIONS: The inscription in Armenian reads 1) \"1899, Ս. Մ.\" (1899, S.M.); 2) \"Յիշատակ Սար-գիս Մարկոսիանից\" (In Memory by Sargis Markosian) & Russian Empire\'s silver hallmarks (\"84\") on the back side.
  • ORIGIN/ REGION*: based on the prior (original) owner, these items were brought to Armenia from Kars (Ghars), during Armenian massacres (in 1910s)
