Very early production Lever Set 18s Seth Thomas for the English market, serial no. 1,428 with 11 jewels, running, Compensating Balance, has not serviced.
The movement also has the Patent information engraved on the movement.
The setting slips, but the hands can be set, the gears are not stripped.
The original English Made Sterling Silver case is in Extra Fine Condition, light wear, 1 minor ding on the back edge, Chester Hallmark for 1886.
The dial has a couple of small edge chips but no hairlines, fresh clear crystal.
Case measures 53.5 mm in diameter.
