Prewashed White100% Linen shirt - arm length almost 38\", neck 19\", cuff 10\", body length approx 36\" (longer in back than front - like it\'s supposed to be)BODY WIDTH 30\" seam to seam at base of underarm gusset (that\'s 60\" AROUND) Amply sized for manly proportions- handmade Dorset buttons at the cuffs.Proper gussets in underarms, neck, and split hem, shoulder reinforcements double fabric for durability.
Hand sewn details in front rolled facing and \'heart\' at opening, machine sewn for durability and enclosed seams inside for long wear.
PLEASE NOTE: FOR YOU \'THREADS-PER-INCH\' RE-ENACTORS: Thread count in this Linen is 44x36...very close to the 18th Century Standard 53x32
For anyone questioning the price: Fine 100% Linen is $20 per yard, each shirt takes a little over 2 yards - there\'s considerable hand sewing, PLUS the handmade/period appropriate dorset buttons = equals about 4-5 hours of dedicated time to complete this shirt - so, materials + time + shipping (USPS priority shipping, so you\'ll have it quickly) = $90ISH *PLEASE NOTE REDUCED PRICE - I\'ve gotta\'sell these!!
If you don\'t have time to clean it by pounding it on the rocks down by the stream, then throw it in the washer with like temps (warm wash/warm rinse; or cold wash/cold rinse) - you CAN tumble dry for a soft rumpled look - but if you plan to iron it nice and smooth, just take it out of the washer and iron it damp.I made these (two listings) - if you have any questions, please ask before offerding - thanks for looking!These are just back from a local living history event - ready for your Rev War or Rendezvous next!!
