18th C antique EARLY COLONIAL POTTERY sponge crock,spongeware:

This cup looks really really old. Multi brown colors, almost like sponged. Primitive pottery, maybe cup, bowl, crock.

There is crazing under the glaze. Around the rim there are chips as shown. The dark clay is exposed in these spots. No cracks. And with the chips on the edge, this still looks primitively awesome.

Cup measures approx 3\" high x 3.5\" across.
