Good pair of Dutch school genre paintings on velum, each with monogram DVB for David Vinckboons 17th century Netherlands artist, painted later by a follower of this prolific and popular artist they are, probably early 18th century.
Typical busy frozen river skating scenes with grand buildings, popular in the Netherlands for many centuries.
The velum was originally pinned to panels, now missing, a 19th century French frame backing proclaims their worthiness.
Both in good bright sound condition, the velum slightly rippled and some paint loss.
Picture sizes 230mm x 170mm or 9\" x 6,11/16\"
Will look very smart behind glass in neat gilt frames.
