Publisher: A.A. Balkema, Cape Town, 1968 third edtition (first published in 1933. Bound in publisher’s blue buckram with titles in gilt on the spine and the publisher’s monogram on the top board in gilt. In original orange dust jacket.

This is a beautiful volume, illustrated with many line drawings, plans and monochrome photographs within the text, and with 113 full page plates of photographs, elevations, detail plans, floor plans and other architectural drawings.

The book is a large quarto volume, 34 cm tall (13.5cm), in near fine condition, clean and bright and tight in its bonding, in a very good dust jacket which has slight fading along the spine, and some short closed tears and small chips along the edges. The dust jacket is now contained in a protective sleeve.
