This is a lot of six issues of The Musical Record & Review comprising five monthly issues for 1901 and one issue from 1900 when the magazine was published under the title Music Review. These magazines are fully complete with the covers with typically 96 pages plus the covers measuring about 7.5” x 5.5” with the 1900 issue being smaller. This magazine was published by the Oliver Ditson Company for professional musicians, music publishers, instrument makers, music teachers and others in the music business. These magazines have trade news, articles about well-known musicians, music related editorials and other similar content. Also included is lots of music related advertising.

This lot includes the September 1900 issue but the following issues for 1901: January, April, November (2) and December.

These magazines were never bound and are all fully complete, well intact and in very good condition overall with just some toning to the paper from age and modest wear. The 1900 issue has some foxing to the cover. Email any questions. Thanks for looking.
