1900 Antique French Blue Enamelware Butter Pail Carrier Unique Nob Cottage Decor:

An antique French enamelware butter carrier pail in an unusual solid blue color. White enamel interior.Also has an unusual Victorian style tin decorative nob on the top of the lid.Very nice & unusual tin handle that is 3/4\" wide at the widest point and has a great patina.Circa 1890 - 1920.Measures approximately: 8\" tall to top of handle, 6 1/2\" tall to top of nob, 7\" long, 4\" wide.Great condition for it\'s age: no dents, cracks, repairs. Has three spots where enamel has worn away: top, inside and bottom rim (slightly larger), approximately 1/2\" in diameter. Several other tiny chips here and there, as expected for it\'s age. The nob is wobbly, it\'s screwed on but I couldn\'t turn it to make it tighter. It does not detract from the piece in any way. Please examine pictures closely and ask questions before offerding.
