Fully functional and displays beautifully, this French carriage clock measures 7\" tall with handle, 3.75\" wide and 3\" deep. The clock has been serviced by a professional timekeeper. The movement was cleaned, adjusted and tested. The case has been polished and is in very good condition with no visible dents or scratches. All original clock. The glass is in very good condition with no chips but there is a difficult to see minor crack located at the very bottom edge of the front glass. The 4\" by 3\" porcelain dial is in good condition with minor scratches. The 8-day brass movement is clean and keeps accurate time. The mainsprings are strong and the movement strikes on a gong every half and full hour. The strikes are not loud but softer and pleasant to the ear. Comes with two French winding keys. Working French carriage clocks with a gong are becoming increasingly difficult to find at a reasonable price. The clock will be packed carefully and double boxed for safe delivery.
