Penrhyn Stanlaws (Real Name was Stanley Adamson) was a famousScottish/American Artist known especially for his magazine cover art of pretty \"Stanlaws Girls\". This is a very early illustration drawing from him for his \"College Girls\" book thatfeatured girls from different colleges in sporting attire. This art features a college girl dressed for the rowing team with an \"H\" on her uniform. It measures 5.75 by 10.5 inches.The ink is still nice and dark but the paper has aged and is somewhat tanned.A few smallpinholes in top and bottom that are visible in the pictures.A great 116 year old original drawing.
