Parts to convert a standard 1903 Springfield rifle into a .270 Winchester Sporter for hunting or target shooting. Consists of a barrel chambered in .270 WCF (same as .270 Winchester) and a custom monte carlo style stock with Pachmayr White Line recoil pad and grip.
Barrel is 23\" with a bright bore and bright polished blue exterior finish. It is in excellent condition and shows no wear. It is already fitted with a Christy ramp-style custom front sight (see photos). No bolt is included as a special bolt is not necessary for this conversion. An original 1903 Springfield bolt (not included) will work just fine with the .270 WCF cartridge.The stock is spectacular (see photos) with very attractive grain figure and a monte carlo style comb and Pachmayr recoil pad. It is inletted for this barrel and fits it nicely. The stock is also inletted for use with a Lyman 48 rear sight but can also be used in a scoped configuration as well.
