Presented for sale is this Stunning Antique Edwardian Solid Silver Teapot, hallmarked for London 1905 by Mappin & Webb.This stunning unpersonalised antique Edwardian solid silver teapot is of a squat circular shape with a wavy card cut rim, domed hinged lid with beautiful flower finial, a C scroll black ebony handle with thumb support and silver mounts and is finished off standing on four curved pad feet superb quality item/craftsmanship. Presented for sale is this Stunning Antique Edwardian Solid Silver Teapot, hallmarked for London 1905 by Mappin & Webb.

This stunning unpersonalised antique Edwardian solid silver teapot is of a squat circular shape with a wavy card cut rim, domed hinged lid with beautiful flower finial, a C scroll black ebony handle with thumb support and silver mounts and is finished off standing on four curved pad feet superb quality item/craftsmanship. It is hallmarked to the base with the Lion Passant denoting solid sterling silver, the London assay office Leopards head, the Date letter K for 1905 and the Makers mark Mn&Wb, the inside of the lid is also hallmarked with Makers mark, the Lion Passant and Date letter K, please see all the additional photos as they form part of the description.

Measuring 5 1/4\" high to the top of the lid knop by 8 1/2\" long handle to spout by 4\" at its widest approx. it is in excellent used condition with just one tiny miniscule indent to the body nothing serious and it has a slight wobble stood on its four feet again nothing serious, there are no major dings, splits or repairs, the handle is solid as is the lids knop and the lid hinge is strong with the lid closing in place. The weight of the teapot in silver is a good hefty 412grams or 13.24 troy ounces by my electronic scales and the capacity is 1 pint or 568ml approx. with no leaks.
