Watch is workingand keeping time. A push of the crown pops the outer case open smoothly andeasily to display the dial. The outer case is very ornate (see photos) withcase number 634143 marked in 4 places; on each of the 3 cases and on themechanism setting ring. The back outer lid inside is marked “Victory” with an “AmericanFlag” the post of which goes through victory with the case number below. Theinside dust cover is blank on both sides except for the number. Inside the dustcover looks as if someone tried to polish it, but it was rudely done; though itappears to be just on the surface so it shouldn’t take much to clean it up. Thecase may be 14k gold filled or 14k rolled gold filled. I couldn’t find much infoon Victory cases; what I did find was not definitive.

The watchface is a white porcelain sunken dial with hand painted roman numerals. Marked “WalthamU.S.A.” and a seconds dial at 6:00. The hands are wasp like steel blue – You willnote the setting lever at 5:00 on the bezel edge, it works perfectly.

Themechanism is gilt finished with #16422762 also on the mechanism is “AmericanWaltham Watch Co.”, “15 Jewels”, “Safety Pinion” – there is a swan neck (Fast/Slow)adjuster and blue steel screws.

The coversfit snugly and appear to have kept this watch dust free and able to run aftersitting for many years. This watch is a heavy 138.7 grams.

Watch is considered working if it continues to workwhile I write up this sale and take the photos, usually at the least 2 hours of listing time depending on how many items I am listing. Before placing a offer; Assume that this pocket watch hasbeen sitting unused for some time and will need a thorough cleaning and goingover if you wish to use it as a time piece.
