\"The 1908 Blue and Gold, University of California Yearbook. Wonderful literary content, senior pictures, group underclassman photos,pictures and write-ups of sports, organizations, fraternities/sororities, events, ads for local businesses, etc.

Book Condition:

Rubbing and scuffing to the boards, edges, spine and corners. The hinge is cracked along the insidefront and back boards. Boards are loosely attached. There is minimal yellowing and foxing of the pages. The binding and all of the pages are intact. No writing. (see photos)

A yearbook captures a living memory within its pages of a unique place in time. It may not only be our alma mater, but it also may give us an opportunity to capture a snapshot of the life of a parent, grandparent or great grandparent that we may not have seen or known existed. Remember, the photographs in these books are unique and may only exist within its pages. In addition, it’s a wonderful historical record of the school and the surrounding community, mode of dress, the evolution of the individual sports teams as well as the protective gear utilized, local businesses operating in the area, climate of the economy, etc.

(Please Note: The yearbooks come in many different styles and formats depending on the year and the school. Some of the older yearbooks contain illustrations and literary styles that are much different than we see today. While some yearbooks are more elegant and detailed others adopt a more simplistic format.
