~ITEM DESCRIPTION~ Here is an ornate GLENROSE pattern, Wm. A. Rogers silverplate PRESERVE SPOON. This very three-dimensional pattern features several rose flowers, and is a difficult and expensive pattern to find especially in serving pieces.
This unusual spoon measures 7-1/4\" long, a rarely found piece made in the Glenrose pattern. Preserve Spoons were large serving spoons, used for....preserves, which were popular back in Victorian days. Of course it can be used to serve many other items- veggies, fruit salad, pickled herring, etc.

CHECK OUT MY OTHER Excellent. No plating wear-through. There may be a few tiny scratches from normal use, to be expected on a piece over a century old.. Since the photo was taken I have polished these pieces.
