Fresh from an upstate New York estate! This offering is for a excellent antique nutcracker set signed \"HMQ.\" Henry Marcus Quackenbush (April 27, 1847 – September 8, 1933), commonly called \"H.M.\", was an American inventor and industrialist who founded the H.M. Quackenbush Company in Herkimer, New York. His company was widely known for its air rifles and for the invention of the metal, spring-jointed nutcrackers and picks. This set is dated \"Aug 10, 09\" and includes two spring loaded crackers and 11 picks (originally had 12). The set comes with it\'s original wooden box. While the crackers and picks are in great condition (only minor tiny spots of brown in a few crevices) the box does have loose joints and the lining is soiled and torn. This set is heavy and extremely well made and will out live generations of use. IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!!My Policies: No international shipping. NO EXCEPTIONS.
