These incredibly rare magazines are on pulp paper newspaper stock, hence the fragility and rarity. Many of the issues are the only ones known to exist. All are from the archives of the National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum in Cooperstown, NY. When the folks at Cooperstown wanted to have this collection of Sporting Life magazines digitized, they wanted to save money so they let the digital scanning firm keep the old magazines after they finished (they got a better price). Here they are, obtained from Lelands.com sales.

The issues are separated at the spines so the pages are loose but complete. Each are 24 pages in length and about 10x14?.

Pictured above is the National Baseball Hall of Fame Library?s ?Bookplate? which is not included in this lot. It is being shown for purposes of provenance. This bookplate was actually on the bound volumes that housed these very issues offered here. As you can see it was originally donated by William G. Bramham who was inducted by the Centennial Commission of the Baseball HOF in 1937 .
