UPDATE 6/18: A collector has emailed me to inform me that this piece is too large to be an original Hearst\'s Magazine cover. I collect neither Maxfield Parish nor Hearst\'s Magazine, so this was news to me. Many thanks to the gentleman who sent me the message with this information. The look and feel of the paper seems period-correct to me so I assumed it to be original. I cannot remove it from its mounting between the matte and the backing without causing damage, so I can\'t inspect it more closely.
Folks, please continue to ask questions and offer information. I am grateful for the input.Magazine cover in EXCELLENT condition, professionally mounted and matted. No frame. The matte shows slight fading.
