Please see all the photographs and read the description in its entirety. Both are considered a full disclosure of condition.

This is a wonderful example of the Weller Roma cream ware pattern. This pattern was designed by RudolphLorber and introduced in 1914.It was extremely popular into the 1920\'s. Art Nouveau instyle, itis decorated with beautifulmolded roses and leaves, typical of the several different Roma floralthemes. The handles are branch like in design, and the motif continues around the entire planter. The cream base glaze has crazing throughout. Much of it is an original design feature for this pattern. And some no doubt can be attributed to age. This piece is in fantastic antique condition with no chips or cracks. There is one small surface hairlineunder the base on one of the footing sidewalls. I believe this is a manufacturing anomaly. On the edge of the foot of the base, it isclearly markedwith the Weller incised trademark. The planter is 16 1/2\" long, handle to handle, and 8\" wide from one carved rose to the outer edge of the one on the opposite side. The openinginthe body itself is 13 1/2\" long by 5\" wide. The overall height of this piece is 5 1/2.\" And the base measures 7 1/2\" by 4 5/8.\" The planter weighs 6 pounds. I am adding an additional 2.5 pounds to allow for the packaging and protection in preparing this item for shipment. Please be assured that every precaution is taken.
