DESCRIPTION

Written and illustrated by popular illustrator, Louis Wain. Wain is remembered for his anthropomorphised large-eyed cats and kittens. Undated, dated using British library copy on Copac. This is the 1914 first and only edition. A scarce work, with only copies on Copac held at Legal Deposit libraries. Some spotting as expected but nothing too serious.

CONDITION

In original quarter cloth binding with pictorial boards. Externally, rubbed to the boards. Bumping to the extremities. Both hinges are tender. Internally, binding is tender in places. Pages are generally bright with occasional spots to pages, heavier to the first and last few pages.
