1915 Antique Buffalo Pottery GAUDY WILLOW 7\" Water Pitcher - VERY RARE:

The rarity and collectible value speaks for itself in this 100 year old piece. I usually clean ironstone before sale but due to its rarity I don\'t want to take any chances with damage. 


Here are the good points:

  1. Painting pattern is mostly intact just a few light rub areas.
  2. Gilding has worn on the handle and base but most of the rim and pattern highlight gilding is intact.

Here are the condition issues:

  1. 1 Large rim chip
  2. 1 Hairline crack visible from outside
  3. Smaller hairline cracks only visible from inside.
  4. Some light to moderate crazing.
  5. It\'s dirty and needs to be bleached. I\'m not going to say this pitcher is stained because I\'ve seen this type of marks on old ironstone all the time and usually I bleach it out. Again because of rarity I\'m highly recommending a professional cleaning. I live in a rural area there is no one here that does it.
