CASE:

This is an absolutely beautiful good quality and rare 3 piece genuine ROLEX solid 9 carat yellow gold watch case. Inside the case is fully signed by Aaron Luftkin Dennison. (Rolex watches with Dennison cases are widely thought to be much rarer than the normal Rolex marked watch cases of this era!) The case is in excellent condition. The back ONLY shows a crease and normal age related light wear marks and no pin head dings that I can see. The case side has is good with no dings. The bezel is in excellent condition. The beautiful integrated solid 9 carat small gold lugs are excellent. The inside of the case is fully hallmarked for 9 carat gold (Birmingham Assay office) and has the date mark for 1916. The case is a good size for a ladys watch and measures 2.9cms (29mm) across (which could be a small mans size). excluding the lugs and crown.

DIAL:

This is a wonderful totally original white beautiful original dial. The dial is in BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL condition, and is of high quality as it has black painted Arabic numerals and a red twelve which is a little faded. It also has a black painted outer \'Railway\' minute track. The dial is unsigned which is correct for this time period. The purpled steel hands are in good condition. The dial itself shows a light patina and a few light marks (See Pics) due to age. The watch has a new replacement plastic crystal which is in minty condition.

MOVEMENT:

This is a wonderful clean genuine high grade gold tone ROLEX FULLY SIGNED quality 15 jewel movement with fantastic damsceening to the top plates. This fantastic ROLEX MOVEMENT HAS JUST BEEN FULLY SERVICED BY MY WATCHMAKER It is in good working order, and is running well. I have timed it over 24 hours and it keeps decent time to a few mins per day. The crown is gold in color, is unsigned and may be the original. All in all this is a beautiful genuine ROLEX made original movement.

BAND:

This beautiful wrist watch is fitted with a nearly new black 2 strand leather period type cocktail band. It has a gold colored metal buckle.I can assume that it would fit up to an 8 inch wrist comfortably.
