1917 World War 1 Victory Liberty Loan Award Medal given out to lenders to the U.S. Treasury Dept. through the purchase of bonds to help fund the war effort. The Award Medal is made of iron from captured and scrapped German cannons. The medal measures 1.2\" (3.048 cm) in diameter and is inexcellentcondition with spots of surface oxidation.
