Vintage standard-sized Birthday Greeting postcard featuresembroideredred rose insert framed in a rectangular window card surrounded by lithographed scrollwork. Captioned “Birthday Greetings”followed by rhyming couplet poem.

The back is actually a separate card that has been glued to the front. Postmarked March 18, 1918 from Brooklyn, New York with a Polish language message with aBroadalbin(Fulton County), New York address.Publisher is unidentified. Made in the USA.

CONDITION:PLEASE EXAMINE THE PHOTOS CAREFULLY. Embroideredstitching maybe slightly fades, but is in excellent condition for its age. The linen background shows moderate age discoloration. Front-side lithographed window card has no tears or folds, but is not perfect - showing some age discoloration, and blunted corners. The back-side message card is firmly attached to the front-side card, and is in generally good condition, with some damaged spots, surface creases, crushed corners, and generalized age discoloration.
