1919 OVERSIZE HARO GLASS NIBULTRA RARE EARLY BLACK GLASS NIB!!!A STUNNING, UNUSUAL & EXTREMELY EXTREMELY RAREHARO MY PRIVATE COLLECTION!
Glass nib pens are extremely scarce today, but HARO is one of the makers synonymous with this type of fountain pen in the part well into the 1930s. This is by far the earliest HARO I have ever seen or had. It features an extremely rare and expensive Black glass nib that is super mint as you can see!!!Plus I am including two spare nibs as well. The pen is with a new fresh sac but otherwise is 100% original unrestored fully mint and superb! It also has the rare barrel end threads where once can screw the cap when you with to post it. This is an expensive feature seen even on early Montbanc antique pens and really prevents that cap lip from cracking when one puts it in a hurry at the back of the pen. This prevents this common problem on pens but it not widely seen at all. Using a glass nib is just something different but a really pleasure....they are superb writers and this is an Extra fine tip too!
Body has very very slight patina!!!The nib is superb wet, fast & smooth!!This is a rare scarce beauty!
