1920 Munzerlite Boudoir Doll Lamp Large Chalkware Bisque Antique Wedding Nice For Sale
This is an unusual doll from approximately1920-1930 both in form and fine condition. The doll is marked "MUNZERLITE Patent Pending" and seems made of chalkware or more likely bisque. She is 16 inches tall, and consists of a 7 inch tall body which is attached to a wire hoop. The arms from the elbow down are attached to the body with wire. Under the body is a light socket ( broken ) and the original electrical wiring. Her truly buautiful face is blemished on the left cheek with very superficial scratches. The left fingers have some flaking. The dress is of tafeta, no tears or stains, ( except for a red stain on the under slip ) and there is a nicely done lace shawl covering a satin bodice. The veil is intact. VERY BEAUTIFUL DOLL in much better than usual condition! Will wrap very well and mail Priority. Please wait for invoice for exact shipping fee. Thank you for offerding. To correct a possible misunderstanding--only the porcelain light socket fixture is broken. The doll's body is intact.
