1920\'s French Collection 50 Glass Stereoview Slides - Roland Garros TennisOutstanding collection of 50 late 1920\'s stereoview slides from Paris. The slides appear to depict a well-to-do family on holiday and taking in the sights, including tennis matches as the newly constructed Rolan Garros Stadium. These may be images froim the French defense of the Davis Cup in 1928, however it will require some additional research. Other notable sights including, the Arch de Triumph, Le Select American Cafe, J. Chaumet Jewlery, Cafe De La Paix, and Cafe Des Deux Magots. There are also street scenes with vintgae automobiles, and typical tourist photos. Some not pictured. The finger jointed mahogany box is in VG+ condition with a few scratches. Hinges and latches are fine. The box and slides are labeled II, so presumable there\'s another box, however I don\'t posess it. The slides need cleaning, and we\'ll leave it up to the experts. Otherwise, no chips or cracks. Overall VG+ condition.
