Great photo album from someone presumably from Central New York, with images of both towns in the area (Liverpool, Watkins Glen, Baldwinsville, Manlius) as well as images taken on trips to New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Camden. A plenitude of well-composed images throughout - 192 in all - showing local scenes, landmarks, amusements parks, friends, landscapes, urban views (many taken from lofty vantage points), and a stadium event welcoming back Charles Lindbergh. What makes this album really stand out is that all but a section of 64 images in the rear are identified by hand and supplied with wonderfully wry commentary. Whoever devised this album was both a talented photographer as well as a charismatic and sophisticated man (there are some images of him posing in front of some buildings and with what appears to be his girlfriend). Just a wonderful timepiece. In very good condition overall - images predominantly crisp and sharp, some edgewear and chipping to outer thick paper boards, string tie a bit loose but still keeps all pages intact. Album measures 10\" by 7\".
