Beautiful, bright, colorful, spectacular ... I could go on and on and still fail to adequately describe this 1920s early Beaver State reversible wool Pendleton blanket auto robe. It\'s simply fabulous! The brilliant colors and sharp, geometric design just pop, with each side offering a different color emphasis in shades of yellow, orange, red, turquoise blue, maroon, and black. Finished with the traditional felt binding and the second Beaver State label (Copyright 1923 by Pendleton Woolen Mills) used from 1923 until 1930, this intricate fleece wool auto robe blanket is featured as No. 2900 Beaver State Robe on a Beaver State catalog page dating to 1926, as shown on page 141 of Robert W. Kapoun\'s book, Language of the Robe — American Indian Trade Blankets. Unlaundered, this blanket is in very good condition, especially for its age, with some wear on the binding edges and a few minor moth grazings, as shown, but no holes, no stains, and no fading noted.
